Personal Medication Dispensing Service
The Right Medications, The Right Time, All The Time, is The Right Answer.
If you value your health and independence, you know it's important to take medications exactly as your doctor prescribed. Yet improper medication management and falls can get in the way of Independent Living, creating stress for you and your loved ones.
With the complexity of medications many seniors take, it's no surprise: 1 in 10 hospital admissions for seniors are a result of medication errors.* |
The Personal Medication Dispensing Service
The Personal Medication Dispenser - PMD provides an easy-to-use solution that helps maintain the proper medication schedule. Hear a simple audio reminder and at the push of a button, get your medications at the pre-programmed times. Local pharmacies and families are provided by Specialty Homecare Lifeline with WAC compliant packaging so that they can fill the PMD dispense cups, with some pharmacies even delivering the medications to the home site. Specialty Homecare Lifeline offers local support and resources.
Sound easy? It is—and it's effective. Personal Medication Dispensing Service - PMD has been proven to deliver a 98.6% in-home dispensing adherence level among monitored subscribers. Medication adherence is documented with online compliance reports to provide demonstrative data for families and health care providers. The Compliance icon above, allows those in the continuum of care to have real time access to the past 35 day history and overall performance of a PMD subscriber. Specialty Homecare Lifeline will fax PMD compliance reports to a physician's office (or another health care provider) at the request of a PMD subscriber at no charge.
